I tried out Google’s Chrome browser when it first hit public beta and have continued to use it on my Windows machines since then. It fits with how I’d best like a browser to function more than any other browser I’ve tried out. That’s not to say that it’s perfect but I would recommend at least trying it.

Last week Google released some promotional videos for it on the Chrome YouTube channel. One in particular struck me as capturing some of what makes Chrome a pleasure to use:

At the back of the Daylight Saving scheme I detect the bony, blue-fingered hand of Puritanism, eager to push people into bed earlier, and get them up earlier, to make them healthy, wealthy and wise in spite of themselves.
